Beth VanStory
Beth VanStory

Beth VanStory is the former president of iMotors.com. As president, she was responsible for managing the entire customer experience, from acquisition through delivery, including business development, marketing, sales, service and systems development and operation.

Prior to joining iMotors, VanStory was vice president of Office Depot Online, responsible for building and managing the online business targeting the small office/home office market. VanStory built and led the team that produced the award winning OfficeDepot.com web site and grew it into a profitable business.

From 1995 to 1997, VanStory served as vice president and general manager of new media for The Weather Channel. Her achievements there included leading the growth of the award-winning weather.com site to its current status as a top content site on the Internet. She also helped extend The Weather Channel brand into new interactive distribution channels, including cable modems and push technologies.

Other positions previously held by VanStory include director of marketing for Bell Atlantic Video Services, and several product management and marketing positions with MCI.

VanStory is a director of shop.org, the leading online retailing association, and Michaels Stores, the leading retailer of arts and crafts supplies. VanStory earned a masterís degree in marketing and management from Northwestern Universityís Kellogg School of Management. She holds a bachelorís degree in finance and management information systems from the University of Virginia, and drives a blue '97 BMW 328i that she bought in 1998 with 15k miles.
